Kenny Cregg and David Beek, the humans who live at Creek Danes, brought their first Great Dane home in 2001, and were immediately hooked. His name was Oz - and what a wizard he was. Oz taught their then three-year-old daughter, Chloe, who is challenged with Cerebral Palsy, how to walk. Sadly, Oz passed way too young. He made Kenny and David fall in love with these Gentle Giants.

 

Since Oz, their tastes have gone to Blue and Black Great Danes and the passion of showing and breeding to enhance the breed has become their mantra. Kenny and David have always strived to improve each new generation of Great Danes. Their past success and peer acknowledgement makes them look forward to the next generation of the Creek Dane Family.

 

Creek Danes is in beautiful northern Michigan, nestled between the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix, in a town named Boyne City.

 

Kenny spends his days on the farm with the Danes and their prize-winning flock of sheep and goats. Meanwhile, David is a managing broker at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Michigan Real Estate.

 

Anyone is encouraged to get in contact, both new to the breed and the experienced. Kenny and David love to pass on their knowledge of these beautiful creatures and love to learn more every day!
