Located on a beautiful 40-acre fully fenced estate in Boyne City, Michigan, Creek Danes is dedicated to producing healthy, structurally sound, well-socialized Blue and Black Great Danes that exemplify the breed standard in both temperament and conformation.

Our journey began in 2001 with a Great Dane named Oz. More than a beloved pet, Oz played an extraordinary role in our family's life. He helped our daughter Chloe, who lives with Cerebral Palsy, gain confidence and mobility during her early years. His gentle nature, intelligence, and unwavering companionship sparked a lifelong passion for the breed and laid the foundation for what would become Creek Danes.

Today, we remain committed to preserving and improving the Great Dane breed through responsible breeding practices. Every breeding dog undergoes extensive health testing before being considered for our program. We believe that health, temperament, longevity, and structure should never be compromised. Our breeding dogs have proven themselves in the show ring, earning championships and demonstrating the qualities we strive to pass on to future generations.

Life at Creek Danes is intentionally different from many breeding programs. Our dogs are not kennel dogs—they are family dogs. They enjoy four daily walks across our 40-acre property, receiving regular exercise, enrichment, and human interaction. This hands-on lifestyle helps produce confident, well-adjusted Great Danes that thrive in family homes.

Our commitment begins long before a puppy goes home. During the critical first days of life, we sleep beside the whelping box to closely monitor both mother and puppies. This constant care ensures every puppy gets the best possible start while also allowing them to become familiar with our scent and presence from the very beginning. Early neurological stimulation, socialization, and daily interaction help build the foundation for confident, loving companions.
